THE BRACARA CUP 22 TROPHIES

Everything is planned down to the smallest detail at Bracara Cup, and this year’s trophies were no exception!

The design is special to us, as it was inspired by a famous piece from the D. Diogo Sousa Museum of Archaeology, found in Northern Portugal, dating back to the pre-Roman era. This statue of a Roman warrior symbolises strength, prestige, quality and distinction, features that characterise a champion.

In this year’s edition, we decided to go ahead with two versions of the trophy. The first-place trophy, recognising the strength of our first-place winner was received by Sporting CP, and the Fair Play Award with our warrior 3D etched into it, to highlight positive, ethical behaviour and attitudes throughout the tournament, was received by the Dutch team, PSV Eindhoven.

Bracara Cup 22, as in all the others, not only represented history, but also made history in the world of women’s football.
